Elegantly bottled perfumes hitting the right notes

Celine

Celine creative director Hedi Slimane has launched the French maison’s rst unisex Haute Parfumerie collection. An ode to Parisian life, its 11 fragrances are presented in art deco-esque glass bottles with lacquered black tops, and include Nightclubbing, inspired by Slimane’s partying in Les Bains Douches, and Cologne Française, a perfect blend of the masculine and feminine.

Nars

The first perfume by Nars Cosmetics founder François Nars, Audacious was created with the help of independent French nose Olivia Giacobetti. Featuring contrasting notes of incense smoke and white frangipani, it is intended to be both mysterious and provocative – as is its innovative packaging, a luxuriously weighty black glass bottle that seems to ‘float’ over its clear base.

Ormaie

Conceived by Ormaie’s founder Baptiste Bouygues in collaboration with French designer Jade Lombard, each of the seven glass bottles in the brand’s debut collection is topped with a different, sculptural beechwood cap in a range of colours. The natural, unisex perfumes include Papier Carbone, which evokes childhood memories of library books and liquorice. §
